Named as a starting guard on the Kings' 25th Anniversary Team, Shane Heal captained the Kings to unlock their first title. The beginning of their three-peat from 2003-05. "The Hammer" has been a fixture in Sydney basketball, returning to coach the Kings in 2012. He is the current coach of the WNBL's Sydney Uni Flames.
